The purpose of this page is to give you a little information about areas of Children’s Ministry that you could get involved in.

Sunday School Teachers:
We are always interested in people who feel that God has really been pulling on their hearts to teach a Sunday School class on a regular basis, share Sundays with another teacher, be an assistant who serves as an extra set of hands or as a substitute teacher.

• We have an exciting curriculum called Generations of Grace.  It is a unified curriculum, which really just means that all of our Children’s Sunday School classes are studying the same Scripture at the same time, just at different levels. The curriculum purposefully takes us through the Bible; the Old Testament through the Life of Christ, Acts and Revelation. We are currently on the 3rd year of a 3 year curriculum.  We are studying the Life of Christ.  Lesson schedules are available on the Sunday Morning Page.
• The curriculum is well prepared with lots of options for different teaching styles each week.
  
• It is an opportunity to grow personally.  This curriculum has a great teacher preparation section that has even our most experienced teachers saying they learn new things each week.   
• This is an opportunity to really impact the life of a child.  We really encourage teachers to get to know their students and pray for them on a regular basis.  In the end it is as rewarding for our teachers.  

Qualifications:

1. We require teachers to fill out a questionnaire that gives us some personal information on you and some references that we can contact.
   
2. We require you to fill out a consent to do a background check.
3. We usually require an interview, for the purpose of getting to know you better, answer any questions you may have and to direct you to any training you may need.

Musically Gifted for Worship

We are in need of people willing to lead the children in worship songs.
 

• In the elementary area we could use someone who would be willing to substitute.
  
• The preschool area needs someone on an every other week basis.

Qualifications:

1. We require teachers to fill out a questionnaire that gives us some personal information on you and some references that we can contact.
   
2. We require you to fill out a consent to do a background check.
3. We usually require an interview, for the purpose of getting to know you better, answer any questions you may have and to direct you to any training you may need.
4. The ability to get the kids out of their chairs and really singing and engaged in worship is always something we are looking for.

Easter Treasure Box Journey
Saturday March 27th we will be having an outreach event that takes children on a guided journey that will take them through the last events of Christ’s life, death and resurrection.

We will need:

1. Guides
2. Possibly some people with the ability to be a Biblical Character for 2 hours and memorize or be familiar with a short script.  
3. Craft people to oversee the craft portion of the event.
4. Greeters for the door.

Vacation Bible School
VBS is August 2nd through 5th, 9am -noon.  We will have need of many different people for that week.  Please be in prayer for opportunies that I will update later this spring.  Although this is a bit of a time committment, it is an amazing week and extrememly rewarding to be a part of.
