About the Worship Ministry

Grace’s Worship Ministry exists to inspire Christ’s disciples to value God above all things in life.
Psalm 34 says, “My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!” … “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!”
This biblical snapshot of corporate worship inspires our congregation to join the psalmist in “tasting and seeing” the goodness of our God and Father. To worship God is to acknowledge that He is sovereign over us, and that he is worthy of our utmost affection, attention and adoration. Understanding this definition, worship becomes a daily activity that occurs in all we do. Music is a God given gift and is one way of expressing this affection, attention and adoration we have for the Lord. As one body in Christ, we realize that God’s children come from diverse backgrounds… each of which have a style of music through which God can be worshiped. We are currently in the process of blending our previous “traditional music” service at 9:00am with our “contemporary music” service at 10:45am. We will worship the Lord in each service by speaking truth back to God in praise through music, but with no labels attached.
Worship gatherings are not limited to Sunday mornings. Each Sunday during UND’s school year at 7:00pm we hold our weekly college worship gathering Jacob’s Well. If you are a college student or young adult, please join us in this time of modern worship and foundational teaching.
Currently, Grace’s worship ministry has about 45 volunteers all together. Other areas of worship include:
- Audio technicians
- Video technicians
- Drama
- Decor / Environment
